Chess Light: free puzzle app game for iphone, ipad

 

Loyal Blog Follower Joel, from Germany told me about Chess Light. The object is to 'light up' or attack all the squares with the given pieces.  Look at the 3rd image. The queen attacks all those squares, but not the square it sits on. Thus the need for a pawn.

 

There are 180 levels broken into various categories. I've solved about 80 levels.

This bandaged-cube puzzle has a very sexual theme. Extremely naughty.  What's more interesting is how the puzzle was made.  Dan takes it apart at the 5 minute mark and you'll see how complicated the internal design is.

Peg Snoids - Peg Solitaire Saga: for iphone, ipad

 

Loyal Blog Follower George Bell alerted me to Ryan Shelby's Peg Snoids - Peg Solitaire Saga.

It's essentially a peg jumping solitaire series of puzzles.

What's different? First off, you must choose which peg to remove at the start of each round.  Second, some levels have circular jumping moves.

Look at the last image: just 1 example of the very interesting board designs.

There are 74 levels and at the moment, I've solved 34. Nice job Ryan.
