Juzu: free puzzle app game for ipad, iphone

iPhone Screenshot 1
Juzu is a free puzzle app game for the iphone & ipad.  Everything's in Japanese. But the rules are clear from the images.

iPhone Screenshot 2

Your task is to draw lines from 1 circle to another.  The 4 must be connected to 4 circles. The 0 is not connected to another.

We've seen this type many times before. Some levels are free. After that, you have to pay 100 Yen. Not sure how the iTunes store will bill you for that.

Futoshiki Light: free puzzle app game for iphone, ipad

iPhone Screenshot 1
Futoshiki Light is one of many puzzle apps that are all very similar.

The object is to form a Latin Square: each row & column must have the numbers 1-4.  The inequality symbols must be true.

I particularly like the grids that have no numbers - just inequality symbols.

The 5x5 boards are not free.  Give it a test run.

Pirate Ring: abstract strategy app game for iphone, ipad

iPad Screenshot 1
Tom Klein recently contacted me about his abstract strategy game app called Pirate Ring. It's a lot simpler than chess, but more sophisticated than tic-tac-toe.

There is no way to summarize the rules. Just go ahead and watch the video.

Helle: puzzle app game for iphone, ipad

Helle - screenshot thumbnail

Linh Ngo recently contacted me from South Korea about his new game Helle. You'll notice: old school graphics.  I tried to navigate through the first level - and I started to become dizzy!

This may appeal to you.
