Creek Puzzles

From the App Store:
'How it's played:
The aim of the game is to fill in the correct squares to find the unique winning pattern. The numbers in circles tell you how many of the surrounding squares should be filled. Every circle must be surrounded by the correct number of filled in squares. At the same time all the unfilled squares must be remain connected to one another.
That's all there is to it! But beware, it's harder than it sounds.'

My observations:
1. There used to be a game called Atsumari which was almost identical, but played on a hexagonal grid. I hope it comes back.
2. There are hundreds of levels at the Starter, Easy, Medium, Hard and Killer levels. About 20 are free.
3. Even the Starter levels are difficult!

  1. Game is poorly designed. There is no way of marking a square as empty.

The "Castle Bailey" genre in 100 Logic Games by Andrea Sabbatini is exactly the same genre, but implemented better in this respect.

As such, I've written an angry 2-star review reflecting this. I hope they'll change it in a future version.
